Time
This is my final outcome for the time project, my first idea wasn't carefully thought out and was rushed, and was called 'Twee' which i think means that I played it safe and was a bit boring lifeless and not as interesting as it could be. But luckily I got the chance to make it better and this is what i did... I collaged tissue paper onto brown paper over the top of my original drawing, painted back into it, used letter blocks for my words and stitched on the hands of the clock. I think it looks loads better. The message of this piece of work is what it says really, every living thing on the planet is growing and everything takes time to grow and develop.
Eagle drawing
I used lines to mark out where each of the eagles features would be, I started by using a large oval circle to get the head shape right, and a curved line going through the centre of the circle to mark out where it's beak would be. I then began with it's eyes and markings, and this is the point where I started shading...
I continued shading in the right places, and also started to add in part of it's body/wing. and carried on with adding detail...
And finally this is what I ended up with, It's not brilliant and could be better, i think it needs more shading and more markings, I'm quite happy though because i've never drawn a bird this good, normally they look like weird dog shaped creatures with three toes :')

I've had an idea?...
After thinking all kinds of ideas for the 'Time' project... i've finally started to get somewhere i'm still going to incorporate the theme life with time by instead of using animals/humans i will use plants/flowers and in the background using roman numerals instead of putting them onto the image of the clock.
Some Images incorporating both flowers and clocks
The Roman Numerals i will use in the background
to be continueddd...

Machine headed human
I Had a project brief to create an A2 piece of artwork based on the word 'Machines' I made a sketchbook full of research but this was my final outcome...It's showing a human turned machine, i decided on doing this through my developing research for help. I used my drawing skills and kept simple metallic colours.

Found Time Measurements
My plan for today is to research the given artists on the brief and look for others of influence to me...
And to find objects that measure time in different ways...
I chose this image when looking at time measurement because i like how you can tell time this way without even having numbers and each hourglass is different with timing.
I like the shape of this dial it looks like its used for either speeding or to weigh ingredients when baking, but all dials are quite similar i just like the way the measurement is split up into sections.
Because my starting point in this project was life/ageing, i found this diagram showing where ageing begins... and where most people start to age and when they become elderly...time changes people. http://www.somersettreatments.co.uk/ageing-process.html
I remember on the mindmap i did last week that maps was on there, such as street maps with roads and signs and symbols, i found this interesting piece of work which is a really detailed map that has been cut into with great skill and is really effective, i think these should be the maps of the future, just like maps can now be followed by using up to date technology- satelite navigation systems. This map was made by Karen O'Leary...http://www.dezineweblog.com/amazing-hand-cut-maps-by-karen-oleary
I really love tattoo designs, especially when there as detailed as this one and it links with the Time project...It's trying to show that time is running out, i think it is a really good design, i hope to make my drawings this interesting when i start them. This was designed by Jon Von Glahn from America.

5 Photographs
5 Photographs for the Time project...
I chose to start from 'life' and how it people, animals and plants change, i have found objects that resemble living things...
This is an image of some flowers i took, when flowers are at there best and full of colour.
This is my dog 'Bob' and he is living, this is just to show that humans are not the only living beings that are important.
I did take this photograph a while ago, but the church suggests to me about all kinds of life, christenings of newborn children happen here and other events such as weddings (love), Funerals (loss). And also links to the bible where life has changed throughout history.
An image of leaves showing that the seasons change through each year at different times, i like these leaves changing in the autumn, and the trees they come from take ages, years to grow.
I also took this photo a while ago but it was a day when there was loads of people about, animals - people with their dogs, swans, ducks, bugs, fish, trees...lots of living things in the same place at the same time, and also links in with the changing of the seasons.
